My name is Sheeter, I am 54. I live with my wife and 3 children in the Salkhit bag of Khongor Soum, Darkhan-Uul aimag.

Sometimes I felt our life condition was so difficult because we had so little income. There was only the cash from my disability group. I thought my family and I shouldn’t depend on others, so I have been trying to feed my family. For 2 years I’ve been a ben eficiary in the KiGA project of JCS Intl, which is cooperating with the Wind of Love Church.

When I just started to be involved in this project, I didn’t have any experience or knowledge about growing vegetables. This was a great opportunity that I would not get again. The project is very helpful for our food security during the cold and long winter and spring time.

In the beginning it didn’t matter to me that JCS is Christian Organization and I could participate in their activities without any problems. I didn’t think it was a good idea that they were advertising a foreign religion. One day, a guy who introduced himself as Christian gave me a Bible. When I opened it there was nothing in it that was of interest to me.

I smoke. When one day I ran out of cigarette paper, I thought I could use the pages from the Bible. So I used the pages to smoke. When our project leader Torkhuu, and another project beneficiary, Shirgarav, saw what I was doing with the Bible pages, they shared about God to me. Since that day, I gradually have begun to understand more about Jesus Christ and have started to go to the Wind of Love Church.

Since I have become a Christian, I feel how wonderful and Gracious God is to me. My brothers and sisters in Christ and I, have a great challenge to serve in Church and to reach out into our own community.

Many thanks to JCS International for helping us to know about God and meet Him. May God bless you all!
