The Altai Port IV project continues to help rural schools to renovate their dorm buildings and make their schools a better place for herder's children to be educated.
Beds, blankets, mattresses, window glass, heating systems and such are important factors in providing a decent place for these children to live. Now, because of this project, children living in these dorms are warmer, healthier and happier which makes them more likely to stay in school and get an education that will help them progress in life.
This project and all its earlier stages have been funded through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
